About SCP
SCP's Story
In 2021, while in high school, Jess Randall learned a disturbing truth: after clothing is taken into evidence, survivors of sexual assault are often sent home from hospitals wearing only paper scrubs and disposable underwear. Outraged and determined to help, she launched a simple clothing drive and was overwhelmed by the community’s response.
What started as one drive has since grown into the Survivor Clothing Project (SCP): a nonprofit run by Jess (who is now a junior studying at the University of Wisconsin-Madison) dedicated to restoring dignity for survivors and raising awareness about sexual assault. SCP now organizes annual clothing drives, hosts the Survivor Stride 5K fundraiser with the American Medical Student Association, and provides resources to help expand this mission to other communities.

The Survivor Clothing Project is committed to restoring dignity to survivors of sexual assault by providing clothing and undergarments to Emergency Rooms, promoting awareness, and empowering communities to take action to combat sexual assault and rape culture.
